Tools - Phoning Home

Be prepared for your trip! After your orientation, CIEE provides you with a CIEE Global Phonecard so that you can easily contact family and friends back home, and your host company upon your arrival. You even have access to voicemail and email with this phonecard.

There is FREE talk time already on your card, but be sure to recharge the card before you start using your US $5 bonus! This way, you'll be sure not to run out of time in the middle of an important call!

It's easy to re-charge your card. Go to www.ciee.ekit.com and click "Recharge" at the top right of the page, then follow the steps.

User Guides

Download your User Guide here. Choose your country or language from the list below, or, if your country is not listed, download the English guide.

Make sure to write down your Account Number and PIN and take it with you.

If you have problems downloading the User Guide, please see below for simple Calling and Recharging Tips.

Many of the CIEE staff are US citizens and have spent time all over the US. Do not hesitate to use this valuable resource as much as you can! CIEE staff will be able to tell you various facts about where you're going and how to get there. If you're arriving into a "gateway site" for post-arrival orientation, ask staff about great student places to eat, drink, and meet people.
